David, an Artist Educator, combines the eye of an artist, the hand of a craftsman and the wisdom of an educator to design and create wearable art and sculpture. Having been involved professionally in the visual arts for the past 40 years, David has combined the teaching of art to students in kindergarten through university along with being a professional artist in a studio/gallery setting, all of which provides the foundation for creating his work.
Each unique piece is carefully sculpted in gold or silver to be functional, durable and thought-provoking. Many pieces are highlighted by diamonds or semi-precious stones. With care for aesthetics, shape and balance of the stones and metalsmithing these creations are a symbiotic blend of craftsmanship and museum-worthy art.
Throughout David’s career he has shown in many galleries, has work in private collections and has been commissioned by a wide variety of clients around the world.
